Black Sesame Dressing for salad
I love making dressings whenever I can, and one of my favorite things to do is play with my ingredients for dressings. Today I made a black sesame seed dressing it similar to poppy seed dressing only I am using black sesame seeds. It’s so easy you’ll never have to run to the store to buy it. Oh wait, I don’t think they have this dressing in the stores. So here is the recipe!
serving size enough for 1 bowl of salad for 4 people
cold mayonnaise ( generic is fine)
1 TBsp of white vinegar ( or lemon juice)
2 pinches of salt
1 pinches of white pepper
3 TBSP of honey ( corn syrup0
3 TBSP of granulated white sugar
1 tsp of black sesame seeds
2 TBSP of olive oil ( Extra virgin or blended is okay)
A jar with a lid and measuring spoons
- Taking a jar place all the ingredients into the jar and shake it really well! Like work out your arm muscles.
- Pause for a second and taste the dressing if it is not sweet or tangy enough add more vinegar and sugar. If it’s too thick add more oil to it. Shake and flavor until you love it.
- It goes best on a spring mix salad bowl or as a cole slaw dressing too.
